Sen. Shehu Sani PDP Chieftain react to Bill Gate visit to Nigeria.

Nigeria Former Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has questioned the motive behind the recently visit of American billionaire, Bill Gates to Nigeria.

Recall that a few days ago, the country’s media space was abuzz with reports that the Microsoft founder met with Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa.

Bill Gates was reported to have held a closed-door meeting with the President alongside Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

However, in a tweet posted on his verified Twitter handle on Friday, Sani, who is a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), pointed out that many Western billionaires prefer not to come to Nigeria unless when in need of the country’s petroleum resources.

He then went on to state that despite all the bad perspective of Americans and the West about Nigeria, Bills Gates ceased to remain optimistic about the nation.

Going further, the former Lawmaker wondered why the Microsoft founder did not visit other neighboring countries in Africa but instead, chose to come to Nigeria.

He wrote; Why is he (Gates) not in Togo, Zimbabwe, or Tunisia, but Nigeria? There seems to be something he is seeing in our country that his peers in the west are not seeing.
